Voluntary Sector Representatives

MEET YOUR VOLUNTARY SECTOR REPRESENTATIVE ON THE FRAMEWORK PARTNERSHIP BOARD

John Gallanders, Chief Officer at AVOW (Association of Voluntary Organisations in Wrexham) represents the interests of voluntary sector at the strategic level of the Framework Partnership Board.

VOLUNTARY SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES ON THE CHILDREN’S PARTNERSHIP

There are four representatives from the Voluntary Sector that sit on the Children’s Partnership representing the interests of Voluntary Organisations working with and/ or children aged 0-10 years. They are:

  • Carol Gardner – Dynamic
  • Caroline Selby – Wrexham Early Years Forum
  • Pat Kearsley – Caia Park Early Years Forum
  • Trisha Hughes – Home Start

VOLUNTARY SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES ON THE YOUNG PEOPLE’S PARTNERSHIP

There are currently three representatives from the Voluntary Sector that sit on the Young People’s Partnership representing the interests of Voluntary Organisations working with and/ or young people aged 11-25 years. They are:

  • Colin Powell - Gwenfro Valley Integrated Children’s Centre

VOLUNTARY SECTOR REPRESENTATION ON THE LEARN AND ACHIEVE SCOG

There are currently two individuals that represent the interests of the Voluntary Sector on the Learn and Achieve SCOG. They are:

  • Carys Gwyn - Mudiad Ysgolion Meithrin (MYM)

VOLUNTARY SECTOR REPRESENTATION ON THE SAFE FROM HARM SCOG

There are currently two individuals that represent the interests of the Voluntary Sector on the Safe from Harm SCOG/ Local Safeguarding Children’s Board. They are:

  • Julie Gillbanks - Action for Children
  • Louise Bayliss-Chapman - Action for Children

VOLUNTARY SECTOR REPRESENTATION ON THE HEALTHY AND ACTIVE SCOG

There are currently two individuals that represent the interests of the Voluntary Sector on the Healthy and Active SCOG. They are:

VOLUNTARY SECTOR REPRESENTATION ON THE ENJOYMENT AND PARTICIPATION SCOG

There are currently three individuals that represent the interests of the Voluntary Sector on the Enjoyment and Participation SCOG. They are:

  • Caroline Selby - Wrexham Early Years Forum
  • Sandra Williams - Wrexham Play Forum
