ARTS COUNCIL ADVICE SURGERY

AVOW has arranged to hold an advice surgery in conjunction with the Arts Council Wales on Thursday 2 February 2012 from 9.30 am.

The Arts Council Wales gives grants to both organisations and individuals, towards projects of high artistic quality. Their priorities are supporting the creation of great art, and encouraging more people to enjoy and take part in the arts.

To be eligible for grant funding applicants must live in Wales and the proposed project must also take place in Wales. Grants awarded range from £250 – £50,000.

This surgery will give organisations and individuals the opportunity to discuss funding for arts projects. Carys Wynne Williams, Arts Development Office with responsibility for Wrexham County, and Heather Hicks, Funding Advice Officer at AVOW and will be in attendance to offer help, advice and support for all your funding queries.

Appointments will be for 45 minutes each and therefore booking will be essential.
