ARE YOU OUT OF WORK? DO YOU HAVE BARRIERS TO WORK?

Do you want to re-discover your confidence and improve your employability?

AVOW will run a 2 hour workshop where you can share what barriers you have to employment and how to champion the voice of those that experience barriers to volunteering or employment because of characteristics such as age, gender, religion, language, out dated skills etc.

The workshop will allow you to meet with others in similar circumstances and take steps to access the Service with the Overcoming Barriers Officer at Avow who will encourage and support individuals through a development plan, training courses and shadowing sessions to help build confidence and skills ready for further learning, volunteering or employment placements.

Individual participants will determine the support needed depending on their personal goals.
