The National Autistic Society
The NAS will engage with adults and young people with Asperger Syndrome in Cardiff, Newport and Wrexham to provide the Social eyes skills programme in order to build confidence and address the barriers that often prevent them from accessing opportunities to move towards volunteering and appropriate employment.

CAIS Ltd
CAIS will provide ‘Skills-Active’, a programme of motivational interventions, trading and support to participants who are economically inactive and are either at risk from or have been affected by substance misuse. Services will be delivered from CAIS’s open access facility in Wrexham, where participants will also receive vocational support.

The project will engage individuals furthest away from the labour market via horticulture and health & well-being, and develop their confidence and skills to access further learning opportunities, progress into employment & participate more fully in their community.

St John’s Wales
St John Wales will engage with 16-17 year olds in Wrexham not in education, employment or training, offering the chance to learn new skills and build confidence, enabling better access to education, employment and training. They will be guided through our youth programme, gaining qualifications, work experience, and interpersonal skills.

Groundwork North Wales
Groundwork’s Gateway to Work’ will work with 168 local economically inactive participants to engage them in a programme of activities designed to move participants closer to the labour market. Volunteering opportunities will be available through existing Groundwork community projects helping to develop participants ‘green’ skills.

Home-Start and Family Friends 1
Home-Start and Family Friends will support economically inactive parents in Wrexham either one to one or in group situations with a tailored programme of confidence and self-esteem building activities supported by crèche provision. This will encourage and enable parents to access the labour market.

Home-Start and Family Friends 2
Home-Start/Family Friends will recruit predominantly women volunteers in Wrexham and train them to offer personalised support to families who are identified as vulnerable. Training will include Communication Skills, and also Turn2us e-learning which provides benefit and grant knowledge valuable to families who are struggling economically
