Gwirvol Youth Led Volunteering Grants

Gwirvol Youth Led Grant 2012/13.

The Gwirvol Youth Led Grants Scheme is aimed at young people aged 14 - 25, who have an idea or project that will benefit their local community.

This could be a one-off project such as a group of young people organising a Community Arts Project to an individual organising a clean up day in their local community!

A grant of up to £500 is available for individuals or groups to fund their projects. A larger grant of £1000 would be considered by the grants panel if it is a large project that includes a lot of young volunteers.

A grants panel made up young volunteers aged 14 to 25 are the one's who decide which applications to fund and how much the recieve!

All projects must comply to the criteria that has been set out, which is:

They MUST be youth led
They MUST include 2 or more young volunteers aged 14 to 25
They MUST be of benefit to the local community

Round 1 - Friday 11th May 2012

Round 2 - Friday 15th June 2012

Round 3 - Friday 19th October 2012

Round 4 - Friday 16th January 2013
