Welcome to the Carers page of the AVOW Website.

Wrexham Carers Service provides Information, Help and Support to Carers living within Wrexham County Borough.

Are you looking after a relative or friend, who because of a disability, sensory impairment and/ or the effects of age could not manage without your help? If yes, the Carers Information and Support Service can assist in many ways.

Wrexham Carers Service can:

· Provide you with a Carers Information Pack

· Give you information on the statutory and voluntary support available in the County of Wrexham

· Tell you how to meet others in a similar situation to yourselves in your area

· Provide a range of services, including training sessions, social events and support groups

· Gather information direct from carers on their individual needs. Social services, Health and Voluntary agencies can be informed of these needs to help improve services offered to carers
