What can you offer someone attending your group? “We offer a Warm Space, that has a kitchenette, and provide tea, coffees, and refreshments throughout the day. We have charging points, books and games and there is always a good conversation on the go! We are currently looking at how we support attendees with any broader needs such as support with cost-of-living issues as well as looking at building in a programme of informal & more formal learning. All ages are welcome, and people can come and go as they please throughout the day, but children must be supervised. We are currently looking at bringing in some heritage craft workshops and a programme of guest speakers to support on various issues. However, attendees don’t have to engage if this is not for them.”
Please explain how someone could attend. Would they just turn up or will they need to contact you first? “Attendees are welcome to turn up at any time of the day between the opening hours of 10am-5pm and can stay for as long or as little as they like. However, in terms of any courses that run are run they will need to book in so that we have an indication of numbers.”
