Commencing rehearsal for their seasonal variety show Christmas in the Limelight under the musical direction of kevin Whitley.

Cash 4 Clubs open to applications

Funding is available for sports clubs throughout the UK to improve facilities, buy new kit and equipment, and increase sporting opportunities.



Grants of £250, £500, £750 and £1,000 are available to sports club in the UK that are registered with their National Governing Body or local authority.



Funding can be used for anything that will add to the sustainability and effectiveness of the sports club, including buying new equipment, improving facilities or helping members to gain coaching qualifications.



The Fund is open to applications with a deadline of 30 September 2014.

Getting Healthy the Woodland Way

Led health walks in woodlands around Wrexham Actif Woods Wales and Groundwork North Wales are working together to offer FREE sociable and enjoyable activity sessions at different woods around Wrexham.



Activities include: Walking with Wildlife Spotting, Nature themed Treasure Hunts you can even enjoy Wild Tea and Cake in the great outdoors.

Parabl - Dealing with Depression

Parable provides short-term therapeutic support for individuals facing common mental health problems or challenging life events in a non-stigmatising environment.



Services include:


  • Self help
  • Online Workbooks and Support
  • Therapeutic Groups
  • Mindfulness

During these six evening interactive sessions you will get to explore and understand more about what is causing your depression and gain tools to help deal with it.
