There are many things that we can take for granted. One of which is our balance. Our ability to catch ourselves before we fall. If you’ve ever had a sudden dizzy spell, you will know that your body reacts by trying to steady itself. Your reactions are quick, and fluid. Automatic. You don’t think about what might have happened if they hadn’t been. Did you know that if you are female and 45 or over, you have a higher risk of falling than men of the same age.\u00a0 The risk if injury at this point is relatively low but increases with age. If you have fallen once, then your chance of falling again doubles.<\/p>\n
