Leonard Cheshire are currently working with John Lewis in your area to deliver a completely free, 8-module course for young disabled adults aged 16-25: This course is tailor-made and flexible for your students’ needs, to help build up their digital and employability skills for the world of work. Click here to find out more on their website!

This tailor-made course is aimed at young adults aged 16-25 with disabilities and long-term conditions (including mental health) and teaches essential work and digital skills. It can be delivered through an engaging combination of online and in-person sessions and will cover subjects such as CV writing, online safety, and setting up a business.  These sessions can be adapted to suit your group and they can substitute any sessions which are not relevant for your learners.

Sessions can be delivered in small groups, and they can also support by loaning tablets to participants for use during the sessions if they don’t already have their own equipment. They also have a discretionary fund so that they can support a limited number of students with the purchase of equipment for them to keep.

If you would like to hear more about the YES course and how it can benefit your young people, please email: [email protected]
