AVOW makes finalist in the “Spirit of Wrexham” Awards

AVOW are honoured and pleased to be nominated for the Spirit of Wrexham Awards at the inaugural Wrexham Business and Community Awards (WBCA).

The WBCA have been designed to be inclusive awards aimed at businesses of all shapes and sizes, located throughout Wrexham. Regardless of the size or industry, if you have done something special to benefit the wider Wrexham community, they are welcome.

There are 8 categories, Social Enterprise Award, up and Coming Award, One Wrexham Award, Next Generation Award, Business Learning Award, Green Wrexham Award, Gobr Cymraeg Award, and Spirit of Wrexham Award.

The Spirit of Wrexham Award finalists include JCB Transmissions, Queensway Community Group, Net World Sports, Litegreen Foundation, and of course, AVOW. The award looks to recognise the organisations that takes its social responsibility seriously. It is for the business that embodies the spirit of Wrexham and its people – they must hold social responsibility at their heart, and continually look to see how it can help local people achieve more.

The AVOW team are over the moon to be considered for the Spirit of Wrexham Award along side other phenomenal Wrexham business and community institutions. We are proud to be part of Wrexham’s history in the making.

The WBCA will be presenting eight awards to local businesses on Friday 10 November 2023, at a glittering event being held at founding sponsor, Net World Sports’ brand-new, purpose-built head office on Wrexham Industrial Estate.

AVOW look forwards to celebrating the Spirit of Wrexham alongside our other nominees.
