We are sad to announce that our Sponsored Walk, originally planned to take place on the 24th of September 2022, has been postponed until Spring 2023: This is to avoid clashing with other popular public events taking place in Wrexham on the same date!
The Sponsored Walk is an ideal opportunity for you to raise funds for your organisation – all you have to do is ask your supporters to sign up and they will receive a sponsor form to start raising funds for you.
We have already done all the hard work such as arranging the licence, completing the risk assessment, coordinated First Aiders, and even arranged some refreshments for participants, so you don’t have to.
All we ask is for a small contribution from each participant (or family group with one sponsor form) of just £5.00 which will go towards our ‘Making a Difference’ Grant, which you, as an organisation, can apply for when we open it up – so your organisation actually has two opportunities to get some additional funding!

We really look forward to having you and your supporters join us for our Sponsored Walk in the Spring next year – we’ll have two different walks available to suit all ability levels: From Trevor Basin to Llangollen along the canal, plus a longer route returning over the picturesque panorama.
