AVOW has recently brought Jane Edwards on board as our Community Support Hub Officer!
Jane has worked with the public throughout her career and over the past 14 years has worked directly with families in Wrexham, facilitating groups in the local community. The role also involved supporting childcare settings in Wrexham with parental engagement and coordinating a variety of resources for families to share at home together, to promote family engagement and child development. Her previous role also involved working one-to-one with families supporting early language development.
Jane has a real passion for professional development and has spent the last few years studying at Glyndŵr University. Firstly, she studied Therapeutic Childcare and most recently, Health, Mental Health, and Wellbeing. When Jane is not studying, she enjoys family time and walking her dog, Bella. 🐕
