Trustees’ Week: AVOW Trustee Spotlight No. 3 – Helen Wyn Davies

Headshot of Helen Wyn Davies, AVOW Trustee.

Cwrdd â’n Hymddiriedolwyr! / Meet our Trustees!

To mark Trustees’ Week 2022, we’ll be publishing a series of spotlights on some of our Trustees and the wonderful work they do at AVOW, and the experience they bring to our Board! The first of today’s two Trustee spotlights is the fantastic Helen Wyn Davies!

Originally from Anglesey, Helen moved to Wrexham when she was six years old. She was brought up in a Welsh family and had her education in the medium of Welsh. Up until her retirement, Helen worked as a teacher and eventually became involved in teaching children with Additional Learning Needs.

Helen is a member of Capel y Groes Chapel and helps out with lunches and a crèche that is held once a week. Other interests include being a member of 2 choirs locally, Nordic Walking, and being a full-time grandparent.

Diolch yn fawr for all the experience, compassion and support that you bring to our Board of Trustees, Helen!
