We Are Plas Madoc (WAPM) needs volunteer drivers to join their Community Transport team; there’s a constantly increasing demand from the community requiring transport, do you have a few hours a week to spare?
We Are Plas Madoc Community Transport scheme supplies accessible transport for all residents within the Plas Madoc community and surrounding areas – they have two electric vehicles; one is adaptable for disabled access. The Transport scheme provides a door-to-door service for hospital & doctors’ appointments, shopping, social events, visiting family and friends, and more. The scheme is coordinated and managed with the assistance of a Community Transport Coordinator, who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the scheme.
If you have a passion for driving and would like to help others by transporting them to appointments, then this is for you! All training and expenses provided.
Requirements:
- Full, clean driving licence
- Over 25
